Update from The Turning

East Sussex

 

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! 346 people on the streets of East Sussex pray to receive Christ in just 7 hours of evangelism Thousands prayed for and blessed on the streets People miraculously healed Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and Atheists all pray to receive Christ Astonishing number of divine appointments More than 0.5% of the population of Heathfield pray to receive Christ in 5 hours of evangelism Over 200 christians equipped to share the gospel, many leading people to Christ for the first time. Believers transformed through encountering God and having their hearts broken for the lost Many different churches united and shared in Father's joy and blessing as we served Him together

 

 

Thank you... To everyone who was a part of this mission launch in any way... The Turning team for their inspiring example, leadership and training... Church leaders for involving your congregations... Hub leaders for coordinating and facilitating the mission in your area... All those who courageously stepped out on the streets... Those who are involved in the ongoing follow up and discipleship... And of course, all who have been praying for us - thank you so much All glory to God!

 

This is just the beginning... Please pray for church leaders across the county as we consider the next steps and join the conversation. We want to continue working together to sow the gospel into our communities, pray for people on the streets, make disciples and see the Kingdom of God come in our communities. We hope to go out every month across the county, there are already plans in some towns to go out on the 30th June, and we also plan to go out on the weekend of the 4th August, details and plans will be released soon. We know that the harvest is plentiful and we have only just caught a glimpse of what God can do. Over the next 12 months, our heart is to see more believers get involved in evangelism, more churches to join the mission, more towns and villages to get involved, so that we can see believers across the whole county equipped to share the gospel and lead thousands to Christ.

 

 

Please pray for Wiltshire as the Turning launches there - they have gone out on the streets for the first time today! Please continue to pray for all those who are being followed up in East Sussex and for the next steps. A Memorial Service for David Greenwood will be held at 14:00pm on 10 July at the church.  This is an opportunity to honour Davids memory.
